Alix Page Has Next Level Live Vocals- Concert Review

From the suburbs of Orange County, Alix Page has made her own wave in becoming an indie-rock artist, giving us a show to remember at the Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta, GA. Page was opening for The Milk Carton Kids’ “I Only See the Moon Tour.” She performed some of her biggest hits including “Stripes,” the first song Page ever released, and “25,” her most-streamed song to-date.

As Page’s set went on, the end of each song would bring more and more applause for the 22-year-old artist. The crowd was definitely falling in love with her artistry. She even played a cover of “I’m On Fire,” by Bruce Springsteen. The crowd seemed to be admiring the ease in which she performed the song in her own style. Before playing the hit, Page let us know that she has massive respect for Springsteen, and that he is one of the artists that she looks towards for great songwriting.

As someone who has an affinity for singer-songwriters, Page stands out as a true beacon of light to be watched in the coming years. She has the same soft vocals mixed with punching lyrics that can be compared to the likes of Lizzy McAlipne and Gracie Abrams. Page has everything you can want from a young-vocalist, and I can see her performing in arenas in the near future.
