Jordan Rakei’s new album The Loop is all about new beginnings in life, specifically in raising a child.
The wistful melodies and heartfelt lyrics create an album worth listening to.
I was invited to see Jordan perform a few songs from his new album, The Loop released in April 2024.
The somber piano and sentimental orchestra melodies filled the room. Every person was captivated by this performance.
Each note seemed to resonate with the collective emotions, creating a powerful connection between the artist and his listeners.
It was more than just a concert; it was a shared experience that touched on universal themes of love, growth, and the passage of time.
The Loop stands out as a genuine tribute to the journey of parenthood and the cycles of life.
The performance included my favorite song, “Flowers.” Jordan wrote this song for his wife and the journey through love they have had together.
It’s an album that invites listeners to reflect on their own experiences and find comfort in the shared human condition.
Jordan is going on tour and will be playing a sold-out show in New York City this November.
