Tour Diaries: The First Run is All Done with Walter Etc.

This past November, I was given the opportunity to go on tour with Walter Etc., a band I honestly wasn’t too familiar with. All I knew is that my best friend Andi toured with them last year, and shared with me that they are some of the most genuine people she ‘s worked with. She was not wrong.

In one week, I traveled across six states. I’d also just like to mention that the week prior to this I traveled six MORE states to attend a bucket list concert at Red Rocks in Colorado. It was like a tour before the tour, but this time it was real. It’s been about two years since I really began to take concert photography seriously. Within these two years it has been a rollercoaster of chances and opportunities. After continuously manifesting a tour, I knew that this year was the year I was ready.

Being on the road is a dream come true. Yes it has tiring moments, but then you remember that this is your passion; something you have always wanted to do. If there is something you want to do, chase it and be open to what you are offered. Life is always changing, and “YOLO” is so true because you really do only live once. I like to say there is so much education in experience, the more you go out and live, the more you learn. So take that with you, even if it’s a little passion, because you never know what will happen next. It is always just the beginning.

I am so thankful to have been trusted with my eye and capturing the special moments from each show. Walter Etc. and their openers Suzie True were some of the kindest and most open souls to walk this planet. Also, they are so talented it is insane, and if you’re not streaming these bands you need to right now. Scattered between this is my big film dump, below is the flip clip recap along with some of my top digital pictures from each night. Please enjoy, and thank you for being you. We are all just fans, going to shows supporting the sounds that keep our souls moving.
