Fenne Lily and her nostalgic indie folk has its own unique ways of hitting one’s deepest feelings. The bare emotion that shines through the lyrics of On Hold, her debut album, is as much sharp as it is sincere.
After the gentle handpicked chords of the talented opener Sofia Wolfson, Lily announced that the idea behind the night would be to perform the entirety of On Hold. With new insights on her first record, as well as newfound sounds, Fenne Lily filled the intimate venue The Broadway on the night of December 4th.
In the triumph of sounds put together by Lily, drummer Dylan, bassist Megan, and guitarist Isaac, the exquisite tone of Isaac’s Telecaster really cut through the mix in wonderful and unexpected ways.
