On the rise hardcore band Knocked Loose released their third album, You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To back in May of this year. Following its release, they went on a spring tour with a stop in Pittsburgh, PA on May 28, 2024. Their live performance did not fail to feed into the energy of the crowd of enamored fans. They started the show with the second single off of the new album, “Blinding Faith.” The curtain dropped and people were already crowd surfing to the front. Knocked Loose then brought back some classics such as “God Knows” and “Mistakes Like Fractures.”

The band knew how to blend the new and old songs together for one seamless show, while also bringing the new album’s eerie frost visuals to life. With a big, glowing white cross behind them, lead singer Ryan Garris, as stated in a previous interview, said “it is not anti-religious or religious.” The cross represents things in life that might control us. And for some, it can be that love for live music.

Now starting a fall run to finish off the year, we hope to catch them again. We definitely recommend that you check out a show if they happen to be in an area near you. It may not be the type of music for all, but at these shows, all feelings of angst and anxiety can be let go.
