I’ve been hard at work on my latest album, TMZ. It’s such a far departure from my last few projects sonically. It’s a lot more “clean” and over the top so to speak.
I’ve been listening to a ton of 90’s euro dance and EDM music that has been the basis for my beat making. I’ve even got a song on the album called RAVERCHIX!- I just love raver culture. It’s over the top and campy. That’s just me.
That’s the same reason I chose the TMZ album theme. The late 2000’s were peak camp; from Britney Spears’ breakdown to Paris Hilton, TMZ was in ALL of it. I want to be on TMZ one day: I love the level of over the top celebrity culture.
