The legendary New Brunswick DIY venue The Crypt was back for one night only. The venue brought in Jersey bands Necto, Toads, NOUN, MxLonely, and Kouskous Heaven to play at the show.
The Crypt collaborated with other local venues Sunday School, Clownhouse, and coLAB Arts for this iconic comeback.
Kouskous Heaven’s new EP The Kous-cible is now on Spotify or wherever you get your music!

What AFZ Hears
“Sunday Witches” was the first song I heard from Kouskous Heaven! This song was my favorite before The Kous-cible debuted, now my favorite is “Inanimate Objective.”
Both songs hold captivating intros that are followed by heavy drums and dreamy guitar riffs. I am a big album listener, I love to listen to albums all the way through. The Kous-cible from start to finish is a melodic masterpiece.
I also asked my lovely AFZ team to listen to “Sunday Witches” and to let me know their thoughts on the song.
Manda said, “The charming sounds of ‘Sunday Witches’ transports listeners to another realm with its enchanting melodies and dynamic tones.”
Erika said, “KousKous Heaven’s newest EP showcases their ability to combine classic indie roots with the hard-hitting elements of shoegaze. Mixing intricate, dreamlike guitar riffs with catchy melodies and lyrics that make your head bang, The Kous-cible perfectly introduces the band’s talent to new fans everywhere.”
