Babes… it’s Hockey Dad in Philly – GALLERY

As the doors opened, fans eagerly flooded into the basement of the iconic First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia.

This was my first time at this venue! I finally got to experience the place I’d only seen in live sets from artists like Pinegrove and Field Medic.

Seeing Hockey Dad, Remo Drive, and Weakened Friends here, with the buzzing basement, brought a similar energy to life—intimate, raw, and memorable.

Hockey Dad Takes The Stage

Hockey Dad brought their Australian surf rock sound to the church basement. Infectious energy and rhythms filled the room; and had the crowd moving from the first riff.

They played songs from their discography like “Babes,” and “Seaweed.”
